Gay Fest 2008 is an annual event held in Bucharest in Romania and the first occurrence of the event took place in 3-9 May, 2004, and after that it occurs every year in the months of May or June and it lasts for almost a week. The country of Romania’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights organization organizes this annual Gay Romania festival. The festival holds many number of cultural events, and also screen out many films, and hosts art exhibitions, and also on the literary benefits many seminars and debates are been hosted by the festive organizers to discuss more on the social issues regarding the gay and lesbian communities, and to improve the healthy feeling about the same. Since the year 2005 even the gay pride parade to add to the festive spirit. Romania is a country full of conservative issues, especially to the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender citizens. But despite these restrictions many gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities have come into existence and thus the Gay fest has come into existence and the Gay fest 2008 has become more popular with the participation by Miss travesti and there were lot of speculations about the issue.
